Today Pastor Jonathan teaches that one of the reasons why Jesus came to die was to defeat the devil. Some christians focus too much on the devil and his powers, while others are almost flippant about Satan. Pastor Jonathan uses biblical texts to show us
how to find the right balance between these two extremes, so that we are aware of Satan and his attempts to distract us from God, but also aware that there is nothing he can do to us because Jesus's death and resurrection has disarmed the devil from his most powerful weapon.
